Our Friday Favourites | #FridayFavs

February 03, 2017

Hey Lovelies,

We thought we'd share some of our current fav every-day beauty products, because that's what sisters are for, right?😊 These babies are pretty easy to find, but we've provided links anyway. *all links are to South African stores.

Let's get into it, shall we.

Elizabeth Arden: Beautiful Color Radiance Blush
We have it in the shade Terrarose; but it comes in a variety of stunning shades such as Plum Perfection and Sweet Peach, to name a few. What we love about this blush besides, Elizabeth Arden's renowned quality, is its awesome pigmentation and staying power. It has fine little gold flecks which makes the skin look really glowy and luminous. Depending on your skin tone, it doubles as a blush and bronzer with it's bronzy dusty rose colour. And who can pass up its pretty packaging! It retails at about R400, but it's well worth it as a little goes a long way. This product is sure to last you forever.

Rain: Wild Cotton Cream
We adore the entire Wild Cotton Range, but today we're showing some love to the Wild Cotton Cream. Not only is it packaged beautifully in a little glass jar, the contents inside are even more amazing. It is meant to be a hand and body cream, but we enjoy slathering it all over, face included. We love Rain products because of their wholesome ethos. All of their products are ethically made with the environment and customer in mind. They use natural ingredients, which is really important to us. It's gentle on the skin with a gentle fragrance. We love applying it to our faces before our make-up, as it moisturises the skin nicely without leaving it greasy. It retails for R175 online. Can you see why we love this product so much?

Essence Eyeshadow Palette: All About Roses
Do we even need to explain this one, the picture says it all! Essence does it again with 8 beautiful shades in a budget friendly palette. Each shade has some pretty decent pigmentation, however, we would suggest using an eyeshadow primer with this to improve staying power. There are 3 matte shades and 5 shimmer, so you can go glam or neutral depending on your mood. The All About Eyeshadow Palettes range comes in 4 other themed palettes. Our favs are the Bronze and Greys. This baby retails for R89.95. Beauty on a budget.

Essence The Gel Nail Polish: 69 All About Us
So we're currently living for Essence's gel nail polish range as it has a huge variety of gorgeous shades, at a super affordable price! We're not gonna lie though, the lastability isn't the best but for the price you can afford to keep the coats coming. We adore all things nude πŸ˜‰ as it's really flattering on all skin tones and just has an effortless class about it. Plus it gives the illusion of longer more elegant phalanges. This beaut retails for cheap as chips at R27.95.

LA Girl LipLiner
This one grabs a spot on this week's favourites list not so much for the shade, but more for the amazing formula of these LA Girl lipliners. LA Girl deserves a medal for having a lipliner range featuring an amazing array of shades, a rich and creamy formula, and at really affordable prices. Well done, you. Don't get us started on the awesome pigmentation. We often rock these lipliners as a lipstick with nothing over top. If you're going to do this, as with any matte lip product, make sure your lips are well moisturised first. She retails for a lovely R45.

Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula
Cocoa butter is nature's answer to beautiful skin. There are a long list of benefits to this product which you should Google if you haven't already😁 We love it because it completely eliminates any dry or flaky patches on our skin. Applying cocoa butter to drier areas before your makeup really helps it glide on beautifully, leaving a healthy glow. The scent will make you want to eat it straight out of the jar! We like using a pea sized amount mixed with some sugar as a lip scrub, works a charm. This product is amazing for your hair too. The list of magic powers is endless. This product has become one of our favourite weapons in our beauty arsenal. It retails for R44.95. A total steal!

That wraps up our Friday Favourites for this week. Let us know in the comments below if you swear by any of these products yourself, we want to know! Or, suggest some products you love, old and new.

Stay beautiful xx
